Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2020 – Guideline & Form

Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2020 Phase-2 program has started and HEC announced that they will start accepting the applications from 5th September onward. A total of 4.87 billion rupees worth scholarships will be given to students this year.

Introduction:

Our prime minister Imran Khan takes an initiative to help out the poor students who can’t afford university fees. The Prime minister establishes a program known as Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program. The main aim of this program to provide financial aid to brilliant students belonging to low-income families. The program was started in back 2019 and now it is the largest merit-based scholarship program in Pakistan.

In Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program, a total of 200,000 students will get benefit from this program for the next 4 years. It means each year, 50,000 students will be rewarded with a scholarship. The government of Pakistan allotted 50% of the quota for women and 2% of the quota for disabled students. Rural and remote areas students are highly encouraged for this program.

The Ehsaas Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Students in 2020:

Main Benefits:

100% tuition fee waives off for student
40,000Rs annually stipend for the student
Special preference is given to disable and remote and underprivileged area students
50% of seats are reserving for Girls.

Eligibility Criteria:

Your family income should be less than Rs 45,000 monthly.
All applicants are required to apply in any year of an undergraduate program in the public sector university.
Students who got admission to financial aid/self-support can’t take participate in this program.
Students who availing any other type of scholarship are also not allowed.
All the scholarships will be distributed on a merit-based.

Documents Requirement:

CNIC copy of (Father, Mother/ Guardian)
Applicant CNIC / B. Form copy
If the father is a Laborer on a daily wage/shopkeeper or doing the private job, you need to attach the undertaking of income certificate minimum amount of stamp paper of Rs. 50/-
Income Certificate / Salary Slip (Father/Guardian, Mother)
Fee Receipts copies of Applicant and Siblings (If applicable)
Rented house, Rent Agreement Copy
Copies of last Six-Month Utility Bills (Electricity, Gas, Telephone, Water) – (If applicable)
Copies of expenditure / Medical bills related documents (if applicable)

Note that the application should not be sent to HEC directly rather it will submit to the respective university’s office. The portal will go to live on 5th September 2020 but the deadline for the Ehsaas program is not announced so hurry up, gathered your documents quickly, and apply for it as soon as possible.
